About Fly Upstream

After 34 years in uniform Larry retired from the Army out of Fort Knox and resides in Louisville, KY. His father-in-law, Bob, taught him how to fly fish more than 25 years ago along with the mantra "Don't Horse 'Em!"

He's had the bug ever since.

Larry is a follower of Christ and believes that he is best, and most beneficial to his world, when emulating the way of the salmonids... facing upstream, against the current, and looking for sustenance and life from a source beyond itself.
